Alla Raykin Joins Asbury Gardner as Partner

Asbury Gardner, Tax Counsel is pleased to announce that Alla Raykin has joined the firm as Partner. Alla focuses her practice in state and local tax (SALT) controversy and litigation matters. Alla regularly appears in state trial and appellate courts throughout Georgia, as well as in other states. Alla has obtained several victories from state high courts. She also has significant experience litigating local property tax and license tax cases, and dealing with novel procedural issues.

Alla also advises clients on an array of SALT planning and policy matters in all tax types, including sales and use, income, property, and other local taxes. She has worked extensively with highly regulated industries, including telecommunications and energy. Before joining Asbury Garnder, Alla worked at Eversheds Sutherland for nearly a decade and previously worked as a staff attorney at the Georgia Department of Revenue.

Alla earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law, after which she clerked for the Federal Trade Commission and the Northern District of Georgia Bankruptcy Court.
